We have so many voluntary organisations that make the Moorlands amazing and it is a pleasure to highlight just 3 of them as my week 14’s Reason to Visit the Moorlands.
I am delighted that the Royal Stoke has been selected as one of 30 to receive urgent and emergency care upgrades worth £13.4 million for a brand new unit at A&E.
I was delighted to visit the Park myself recently and it was absolutely amazing to see the mother, Hope, and her two young cubs, Nanook and Noori here in the Moorlands. We have polar bears in the Moorlands!

On Saturday 29th July we see the return of the annual Leek & District Show – an event that I and my family have enjoyed going to for many years and this year, my week 8 of A Year of Reasons to Visit the Moorlands.
