Competition Blooming At Leek Allotments

Karen Bradley MP joined the Leek Allotment Holders and Gardners Association for their summer show this weekend. Karen helped award the trophies as association members young and old showed off their prize-winning produce.

Karen Bradley Pledges To Support Staffordshire Wildlife Trust

Karen Bradley MP for Staffordshire Moorlands pledged to 'value our natural heritage' this week after meeting local nature conservation organisation Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) at the House of Commons.  The event was held to highlight the value of funding nature and its recovery and included a number of Wildlife Trust projects funded by HLF around the UK.

Working by the Canal to Restore Moorlands Gem

Local Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley, spent Saturday morning helping volunteers at the Caldon Canal in Cheddleton working to restore the canal.  Caldon and Uttoxeter Canals Trust had organised a work party of over 20 volunteers to continue to repair the canal so it can be enjoyed by walkers and boaters.

Karen Bradley MP Brings War Hero Back to the Moorlands

Staffordshire Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley, welcomed her colleague, Col Bob Stewart DSO MP back to the Moorlands to meet members of the Staffordshire Moorlands Conservative Association Patrons Club.  As a former Commander of the Cheshire Regiment - now 1 Mercian, sister battalion to 3 Mercian the Staffords - Bob had spent much time in the area, particularly in the training camps just outside Leek.  He told his audience how pleased he was to return.

Biddulph Celebrates Fairtrade Status with Karen Bradley MP

Karen Bradley joined councillors, officials, volunteers and local businesses on March 12th to celebrate Biddulph achieving Fairtrade status. Five years' of work has culminated in the town achieving the award that recognises its support for producers in the developing world.
