Enquiries Received During COVID-19 Pandemic
As you are aware, this country is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and during these unprecedented times, it is the Council’s priority to keep people in our communities safe and well.
It is our role to ensure that 22,000 of the most vulnerable Staffordshire residents are shielded from this disease and that an estimated further 130,000 residents, who are also vulnerable but fall outside of this group, are helped to remain safely in their homes.
The Council is taking a number of steps to support the government’s strategy to tackle this unprecedented crisis, including re-deploying the workforce into frontline roles that deliver critical services.
This significant challenge will impact all Council services and will affect the Council’s ability to respond to your enquiries as quickly as we would like to. Adults and children social care enquiries will continue to receive attention, however, less urgent issues will be delayed.
