Local MP Karen Bradley asked residents across Staffordshire Moorlands to nominate their favourite pub for entry into the Parliamentary Pub of the Year competition and the Pub that received the most nominations and is going on to the next stage of the competition is the Roaring Meg in Biddulph.
Karen said,
“Staffordshire Moorlands has so many fantastic pubs that it was impossible for me to choose just one, and that’s why I asked local residents for their help.
The Roaring Meg received the most nominations and I have therefore officially entered the Roaring Meg to represent Staffordshire Moorlands in the competition.
Good luck to the Roaring Meg and Staffordshire Moorlands in this competition and thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate some of the many great pubs that we have in our constituency.”
