Karen Bradley donned her baker's outfit for a visit to the Taste of the Moorlands bakery in Warslow this week. She was supporting owner Sarah Gayton's campaign to get the 2012 London Olympics to benefit rural businesses in Staffordshire.
Sarah is promoting quality food from the Moorlands and hopes to make it available in the Olympic village, She is sending a set of mugs to the Olympic Committee and the Prime MInister for them to dunk their Moorlands biscuits in to show off her wares. Karen said:
"I think Sarah has a fantastic campaign here. We should be shouting about the great produce we have in the Moorlands and I'll make sure David Cameron gets these great biscuits and, of course, the special mug to go with them.
"Taste of the Moorlands is an award winning Moorlands business and I hope it, as well as many others outside London, can benefit from the Olympics."
