Karen Bradley, Member of Parliament for Staffordshire Moorlands spoke in Parliament yesterday evening on behalf of the many pubs, restaurants and other social venues in Staffordshire Moorlands.
Following the recent Government announcement that we are to avoid pubs, clubs, restaurants, theatres and other such social venues, Karen asked the Health Secretary a question following his Statement on the Coronavirus.
Karen said,
“I have been contacted by many pubs and restaurants in Staffordshire Moorlands who are concerned about the latest Government announcement to avoid pubs, clubs, restaurants, theatres and other such social venues.
“It is one of their busiest times of the year in the run up to Mother’s Day and they want to know whether the Government advice is to close or not so that if so, they can claim on insurance, should they be able to.
“ Please see the section on my website for the all the latest Government advice on Coronavirus which is updated as the situation changes.”
