Karen Bradley MP

Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley joined Staffordshire Wildlife Trust CEO Julian Woolford and other staff last week to visit Gun Moor.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are trying to raise £156,000 to buy Gun Moor. The Trust has entered into a “buy back” agreement with the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation asking the Foundation to buy the land with an agreement that they would buy it back from them for the same price within two years.

Karen said,

" It was lovely to visit Gun Moor recently and we were really lucky with the weather - the sun shone and the views were spectacular.

"Staffordshire Wildlife Trust have done a great job taking ownership of some of our local beauty spots such as the Roaches and it was lovely to hear about the many initiatives that are taking place to raise money for the Gun Moor appeal."
