Moorlands MP, Dame Karen Bradley was delighted at the turnout last week for her Pensioners Information & Advice Fair at Biddulph Town Hall.

Karen has been hosting these Fairs for many years, both in Biddulph and in Leek with the idea of helping pensioners and those approaching retirement age to find out more about the local services available in the Moorlands.

Karen was honoured to have Judy Scott-Moncrieff, Deputy Lieutenant for Staffordshire, who represents the King, open the event. There were many representatives from local and national organisations that had stands and were pleased to explain the services that they provide.

Karen commented,

“The Pensioners Information & Advice Fair was really well attended and I am grateful to all the organisations that came along as well as the many local people who popped in to find out more about our great local services.

“Thank you too to the Deputy Lieutenant for Staffordshire, the Mayor and Mayoress of Biddulph and of course Sarah and her team at Biddulph Town Hall.”
