Moorlands Dog Rescue

Karen Bradley MP

Moorlands Dog Rescue is a registered charity, set up in 2013 to help dogs in the Staffordshire Moorlands areas. Although we primarily rehome dogs locally, we also have placed dogs much further afield.

We use foster homes as much as possible, although to help more dogs we are often forced to use kennels. In late 2019 we launched the Restart dog Project, where we team up with Werrington Young Offenders Institute to build kennels on-site to house four of our dogs, where the supervised and trained inmates care and train those dogs on a daily basis, to help their chances of adoption.
