Karen Bradley was back at the Biddulph Festival this weekend as guests of Churches Together for their fund-raising tea party. Later Karen joined Mayor Jones and the festival organiser Cllr Frank Harris to promote this Friday's Las Vegas concert at the town hall.

Karen is working hard to campaign for everyone in Staffordshire Moorlands. It's a large and diverse constituency with a mixture of towns and villages, as well as some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain.

Karen Bradley was elected last week by her fellow MPs as a member of the Work and Pensions Select Committee. Karen will sit on the cross-party group of MPs that will scrutinise and analyse the work of the Department of Work and Pensions and investigate related policy areas.

Saturday morning saw the start of the 11th Biddulph Festival and Karen Bradley joined the Mayor of Biddulph at the official launch. Town Crier John Robinson got the Festival off to a ringing - and rhyming - start before the Mayor formally launched things.

Karen Bradley welcomed the news today that Italian authorities have dropped their demand for Edmond Arapi to be extradited under a European Arrest Warrant. Mr Arapi was convicted in his absence of a murder in Genoa in 2004 when he was working in Leek and had not left the UK between 2000 and 2006.
