Thor's Cave Brett Trafford

The Year of the Moorlands Village - Wetton

We are lucky to have amazing landmarks in the Moorlands such as Thor’s Cave, which can be reached via footpaths from Wetton village or along the scenic Manifold Way.

The cave is huge and dramatic, with a natural arched entrance, formed over thousands of years as water slowly dissolved the limestone. However, please be careful if you do climb up as it is steep and can be slippery.
