Severn Trent 2026

I visited the Severn Trent water treatment works at Tittesworth Reservoir earlier today together with Cllr Joe Porter.

We met with Ed Ruane, Stakeholder Engagement Manager and Mark Sczesniok, Area Water Treatment Manager, for a site tour, to see how the water is processed through the plant.

It was a very interesting experience, especially hearing about the plans for a new water main linking Carsington and Tittesworth reservoirs, which is hoped to be completed in 2027. It was great to see that the reservoir is currently at maximum capacity thanks to all the rain we have had recently!
