Last week, Karen visited the new exhibition at the Foxlowe.
She said: "I had such a fantastic time visiting the new Arthur Berry exhibition at The Foxlowe. It was a fascinating exhibition which was particularly exciting as it featured unseen works from the estate of the artist himself.
I have always been impressed by the work of Staffordshire-born Arthur Berry, and this beautiful collection of rarely seen landscapes made me realise what a truly talented artist he was.
I was so impressed with all the hard work that has gone into putting on this exhibition, and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Barewell Gallery in Burslem who agreed to partner up with the Foxlowe Arts Centre to share this unique collection with the people of Leek.
Every time I visit I am bold over by the quality of the Foxlowe Arts Centre. I am so pleased that this wonderful building is being put to such great use and, as always, would like to thank all the hard-working volunteers who put so much effort into making this the perfect example of a true community centre for everyone."
