Staffordshire Moorlands MP, Karen Bradley recognises and pays tribute to our extraordinary NHS staff as we celebrate the NHS’s 70th birthday.
Karen said,
“Today marks the 70th birthday of our National Health Service. I know that local residents in Staffordshire Moorlands will want to join me in celebrating the achievements of this great institution and to pay tribute to our wonderful NHS staff both in the Moorlands and in the rest of the UK. Thank you to each and every one of you - you are our heroes working tirelessly, day in, day out to support and care for us in our moment of need. We really do appreciate all that you do for us.”
The Health and Social Care Secretary recently announced over £200 million of investment in NHS health research to develop innovative treatments and transform the lives of millions.
The Conservatives have increased the NHS budget every year we have been in Government and will deliver a long term funding boost of £20 billion a year to secure the future of the service for generations to come.
