Moorlands MP Karen Bradley was pleased to invite the Minister of State for Health, Stephen Hammond MP to visit Leek Moorlands Hospital.
The Minister joined senior health professionals from the CCG, the MPFT and STP as well as local Councillors to hear about the ongoing consultation and the exciting possibilities for the Leek Moorlands Hospital and Hub.
The Minister also held a staff roundtable with MPFT frontline staff drawn from various hospital services followed by a tour of the Minor Injuries Unit.

“It was lovely to be able to show the Minister Leek Moorlands Hospital. I believe that the people of the Moorlands deserve high quality modern health care and will continue to be a loud voice on behalf of local residents to make sure that we have a hospital and hub with the best healthcare fit for the 21st century.”
The Health Minister, Stephen Hammond MP said,
“I was delighted to visit Leek Moorlands and meet so many hardworking staff. Our Long Term Plan sets out a long term vision to ensure that patients receive the best care in the most appropriate setting. I know Leek Moorlands is a well-loved local hospital that will continue to provide excellent care for a long time to come."
Karen continues to urge everyone in the Moorlands to take part in the consultation which runs until 17th March.
