Karen has today nominated local band Interlinked to represent Staffordshire Moorlands in the under-19 band category of the prestigious parliamentary competition Rock The House.
She said:
"I know that the Moorlands has a wealth of young impressive musicians and it is a pleasure to be able to put forward one of our local bands, Interlinked, to compete in Rock The House.
"There will be a panel of industry-leading judges who will preside over the contest, determining the overall winners. I wish Interlinked the best of luck as the competition progresses!"
Liam Barlow, who plays guitar and sings in Interlinked, said of the band's entry:
"We are all excited to be Karen's nomination for the competition and to be representing the Staffordshire Moorlands."
