Karen joined the new High Sheriff of Staffordshire, Miss Susie Inge-Innes-Lillingston at the United Charities Market in Biddulph on Saturday.
The High Sheriff was greeted with guard of honour from local Scouts and Guides and then met the stall holders from the many charities packed into Biddulph Town Hall.
Karen said: “Yet again, Biddulph’s community spirit was in evidence and I picked up some great bargains. The charities market is always a popular event and whether you want local crafts or fair trade chocolate the market is providing charity at home and abroad in a very friendly atmosphere. Well done to John Bamford and all the organisers”.
