Celebrating our Towns - Leek
Brindley's Water Mill in Leek is a real gem and a fascinating piece of Staffordshire's industrial heritage. Dating back to 1752, it was one of the first industrial projects undertaken by the renowned engineer James Brindley.
Today, the Mill is maintained by a team of volunteers and it is well worth a visit. As part of Heritage Open Days, the Mill will be open on 12 and 13 September, offering a great opportunity to learn more about its story.
