Celebrating our towns - Cheadle
St Giles’ Catholic Church in Cheadle is widely regarded as the masterpiece of the renowned architect Augustus Pugin. The church was built between 1841 and 1846 for the 16th Earl of Shrewsbury, John Talbot, who lived at Alton Towers. It's a really beautiful church and well worth a visit.
