Karen's 100 in 100 Apprenticeship campaign took an important step towards its target as Jonathan Charles joined Karen's own team in her constituency office as an apprentice in Business Administration.
Karen said:
I'm really pleased to welcome Jonathan to the team. He's very enthusiastic and very able. He'll get the opportunity to learn about working in a professional office, as well as getting his teeth stuck into the political aspects of the job which I know is of interest to him. I’m sure that the skills he acquires working with my team will stand him in good stead in the future.”
Jonathan, aged 21 from Werrington, will support Karen's caseworkers dealing with constituents' issues. He'll also spend one day a week in Westminster and will study for a business qualification from Leek College.
Jonathan has joined the launch of the 100 in 100 campaign in conjunction with the Post & Times and the National Apprenticeship Service.
