I spent Friday morning out and about in Alton talking to local residents. Lots of support on the doorstep and thank you to everyone who said they would be voting for me on 12th December.
It was then off to Froghall and Kingsley Holt with the team. Some local residents were asking about protecting our environment and our rural areas.
I voted for a carbon neutral UK and Conservatives will protect our environment, including through spending £1bn to accelerate renewable energy projects and lower pollution. We need the right connections to ensure our beautiful Moorlands is also great place to live: I will continue to apply my experience in government to get better broadband in rural areas. I will work with local councils to get more, clean buses and to protect vital school transport. And I will continue my work to save Leek Show – a great showcase for Moorlands farming.
Vote Karen, your Conservative Candidate on 12th December to Get Brexit Done so we can focus on the issues that make a real difference to people’s lives – the NHS, schools and policing and tackling climate change.
