Every year, Parliament holds ‘The Tiffin Cup’ – a competition designed to hunt out the best South Asian Restaurant in the country. Members of Parliament are asked to nominate the most popular South Asian Restaurant in their constituencies. Out of these, ten entrants are shortlisted according to their regions, and invited to a special cook-in at Parliament's Bellamy’s Restaurant, where the overall winner will be found and presented (by the Speaker of the House) with the Tiffin Cup.

“As you know, every year I like to nominate a restaurant from the Moorlands that has shown itself to have outstanding food, service, and flair. I will pick the restaurant which receives the most nominations from constituents, and forward it on as my nomination for the cup. To make a nomination, please email me at karen.bradley.mp@parliament.uk, with the restaurant you wish to nominate, and an explanation as to why”.
