Sailability Planning Decision

Candidate hopes the fight will go on

Karen Bradley, Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Staffordshire Moorlands, today expressed disappointment that the District Council Planning Committee did not feel able to grant planning permission to the Sailability disabled sailing club based on Rudyard Lake in the Moorlands.

Karen said:

“I was very surprised that the planning committee turned down the application from Sailability. This is one of the most praiseworthy charities in the Moorlands. The work they do with disabled people is something to be proud of. I am disappointed that they have once again been denied the opportunity of establishing a permanent home at Rudyard Lake.

I very much hope that this isn’t the end of their campaign and I am happy to support their case.”
