Matthew Parris Enjoys Visit To The Moorlands

Last night, local Conservatives held their Spring Banquet with Guest of Honour Matthew Parris.  The writer and broadcaster enjoyed an evening at Heaton House Farm with 150 local supporters.

Karen Bradley, the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Staffordshire Moorlands, said:

“I was so pleased to be able to welcome Matthew to the Moorlands and that we had such a fantastic evening.  Matthew knows the area well, having been the neighbouring MP for West Derbyshire between 1979 and 1986 and still living locally. His after dinner speech reflected his local knowledge and also gave us an insight into the life of such a well known political and social commentator.

“It was a real pleasure to see 150 happy guests enjoying the event.  Many thanks must go to the team at Heaton House Farm and the caterers for laying on such a good evening.”
